Kasrâni criticizes West's "forever war narrative"

Odssa - In an open letter addressed to "the United States of America, and other Western leaders" presidential hopeful Niḱolâ Kasrâni urged wester leaders to, "give up the narrative that Ukraine will be a forever war."

Kasrâni continues his letter by saying, "while the west can afford to sit around while this war plays out, sadly we cannot. The war continues to have devastating effects on the Agausian economy. How dare they [western leaders] sit on their hands while so many suffer."

In the last few weeks Kasrâni has been critical of western leaders, for not intervening sooner in the conflict, and of the Agausian government and his opponent Simon Aioviḱara. The presidential candidate has argued that the government should be doing more to help struggling Agausians, and that there should be a series of tax cuts and reforms in order to encourage foreign investment.

"The Social Democrats have been mismanaging the economy for years, but now we see the result of their mistakes. The cost of living is at an all time high, and Agausian families are hurting. This is unacceptable."
