Aioviḱara urges international community "do not forget us"

Tamara - Speaking from the gilded halls of Ḱlement́ina Palace, President Simon Aioviḱara gave a televised address to the nation and the international community. Aioviḱara used this time to ask nations to not forget about Agausia, given the current geopolitical situation. "I understand that some nations might be weary to do business here, but remember that Agausia is safe, secure, and independent." Said the president during his address. 

Mr. Aioviḱara also used the time to project his strength and flaunt his successes while in office. In his speech the president promised that, if reelected, he would work with the SD government to reduce the cost of living and lower inflation. As of February inflation rates have held steady at 11.5%, but the rising cost of goods have upset many Agausian voters.  

          

In a recent poll 68% of surveyed voters said that Aioviḱara appeared weak, and had little to no appearance on the international stage. It is not yet clear what effect Wednesday's speech had on the incumbent's poll numbers, but political strategists suggest it will have a more muted effect.
