We hear war...we are tired

Sḱvilр́eḱa Rkosani Ṕirut́kvi - Russia's offensive inside Ukraine is nearing its two month mark, and as Russia redefines their directives the south of Ukraine, and the Black sea, have seen more intense fighting and military activity. 

In Sḱvilр́eḱa Rkosani Ṕirut́kvi, a small village of 3,350 that is 270km from Mariupol, villagers hear the devastation that is flattening Ukraine. Meri Soḱó, a nun with the local orthodox monastery, spoke with journalists about what she has been experiencing.

The 73 year old nun spoke with reports as she prepared bread for the Easter holy day. "At the start of the war we heard nothing, but now more of Russia's navy is in the Black Sea. They fire missiles and you hear them. Boom Boom Boom. Every time I hear one I say a prayer. I don't understand how he [Russian President Vladimir Putin] could do this. I ask God to save him and to save us all." Soḱó paused the interview to check on dough that she was waiting to rise. 

"The soldiers, both Russian and Ukranian, should be home with families this weekend, and not enthralled in this hellish war. We hear this war. We are suffering from this war, and we are tired."
