Cabinet Disrupted as Ministers Walk Out Over Slur Against Russians

Tamara - A source close to the Agausian ministerial cabinet has reported what they call a "racist incident," which occurred during Tuesday's cabinet meeting. According to the source, who agreed to speak on the condition of anonymity, the meeting was abruptly interrupted when a minister made an offensive comment, referring to Russians as "Orcs." The term, seen as derogatory and hurtful, caused immediate tension in the room.

The context of the comment was not explicitly stated during the meeting, but some individuals present perceived it as a slur against Russians who have sought asylum in Agausia to escape Russian President Putin's aggressive policies. The arrival of Russian refugees in the region has resulted in resource strain and escalated tensions between the asylum seekers and the local Agausian citizens.

The influx of Russians, and others, fleeing the war have begun to strain much of Agausia's already delicate political infrastructure. Rent prices in Tamara and other cities have skyrocketed, the healthcare, education, tax, and registration and documentation systems are also struggling to keep pace. 

In the wake of the offensive remark, two cabinet members decided to walk out in protest, highlighting their disapproval of such language being used in an official setting. The identity of these ministers has not been disclosed either.

The situation has raised concerns about the state's approach to handling the ongoing refugee crisis and the need for substantial change. Citizens are expressing their disappointment over the incident and calling for accountability from the government. Russians make up just over seven percent of the Agausian population which is about one hundred-eighty-seven-thousand people. 

As of now, neither the Prime Minister nor any other cabinet member has made an official comment regarding the incident, leaving the public eagerly awaiting a response. This is only the latest example of dysfunctional behavior from Mišḱo Ermolai's coalition cabinet, and tension seem to only be increasing between important members of government.
