Tamara - The Agausian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Integration is actively engaging in discussions with nearly fifty ethnic Agausians residing in Nagorno-Karabakh. These talks come amid an exodus of citizens, following the recent military developments in the region.
Nagorno-Karabakh, a disputed territory located in the South Caucasus and is international recognized by Azerbaijan, has been a longstanding area of contention between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The recent conflicts have resulted in significant changes to the region's demographics and political control.
On September 19, 2023, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale military offensive in Nagorno-Karabakh, resulting in a decisive victory and the disarmament of the forces of the ethic Armenian Republic of Artsakh. This has prompted discussions and actions regarding the fate of the population residing in the region.
The Agausian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Integration is in active communication with the approximately fifty ethnic Agausians living in Nagorno-Karabakh. The discussions are centered around their future, considering the changed geopolitical dynamics and the recent military operations.
In an official statement, the Agausian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Integration said, "We are deeply committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our ethnic Agausian community in Nagorno-Karabakh. Their concerns are our concerns, and we are actively exploring avenues to protect their rights and preserve their cultural identity."
Many Agausians living in the disputed region express concerns about their security and future in a region now under Azerbaijani control. The fear of potential repression and the desire to preserve their cultural and historical identity have become prominent factors in their decision-making process.
In light of the evolving situation and the expressed concerns of the ethnic Agausians, the Agausian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Integration is strategizing to ensure the safety and well-being of this community. Repatriation to their ancestral lands or other suitable arrangements are being explored to safeguard their rights and heritage.
The Agausian government, along with international partners, are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating efforts to facilitate a secure and voluntary repatriation process for everyone living in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Mtâni Ḱarabaǵi, sadavo t́erit́orâ, romelitsëâ mdebareobs samkret ḱavḱasâši da sértašorisod aǵârebulâ azerbaižanis mër, Armenâtsëâ da Azerbaižans šoris didi knis daṕirisṕirebis zonas tsëarmóǵens. Bolo ḱonplikt́ebma mnišvnelovani tsëvlilebebi gamoitsëvâ regionis demograpiul da ṕolit́iḱur ḱont́rolši.
2023 tsëlis 19 sekt́embers Azerbaižanma daitsëḱo partomasšt́abâni samkedro šet́eva Mtân Ḱarabaǵši, ris šedegadatsëâ gadamtsëḱvet́i gamaržveba da Artsëakis etiḱuri Armenâ resṕubliḱis žalebis ganâraǵeba mokda. Aman gamoitsëvâ disḱusëbi da mokmedebebi regionši mtsëkovrebi mosakleobis bedtan daḱavširebit.
Agûsës sagareo sakmeta da int́egratsës saminist́ro akt́iur ḱomuniḱatsëašâ Mtân Ḱarabaǵši mtsëkovreb daakloebit ormotsëdaat etniḱur Agûstan. Disḱusëbi orënt́irebulâ mat momavalze, šetsëvlili geoṕolit́iḱuri dinamiḱis da bolo samkedro oṕeratsëbis gatvalistsënebit.

Mati šešpoteba čveni šešpotebaa da čven akt́iurad viḱvlevt gzebs. Mati ûplebebis datsëva da ḱult́uré ident́obis šenarčuneba“.
Sadavo regionši mtsëkovrebi Agûsis bevri mokalake gamokat́avs šešpotebas mati ûsaprtkhoebisa da momavlis šesakeb regionši, romelitsëâ akla Azerbaižanis ḱont́rolis kvešaa. Ṕot́entsëri reṕresëbis šiši da mati ḱult́uré da ist́ori ident́obis šenarčunebis survili gakda mati gadatsëḱvet́ilebis miǵebis ṕrotsëesši gamorče pakt́ori.
Ganvitarebadi sit́uatsësa da etniḱuri agûsëlebis gamokat́é šešpotebis ponze, agûsës sagareo sakmeta da int́egratsës saminist́ro akortsëlebs st́rat́egâs am temis ûsaprtkoebisa da ḱetilǵeobis ûzrunvelsaḱopad. Mati ûplebebisa da memḱvidreobis dasatsëavad mimdinareobs reṕat́râtsëâ mati sagvareulo mitsëbši an skva šesaperisi ǵonisžëbebi.
