Finance Minister faces increasing criticism

Author: Lečkumi Baksolâni

Tamara - On Wednesday, at the bequest of the parliament, Finance Minister Niḱolozi Pat́aški (SD) stood for several hours answering MPs questions; and faced several rounds of intense scrutiny. MPs from the opposition, and within Pat́aški's own party, questioned the minister's recent handling of the economy.

During the 4-hour line of questioning affordable housing and a new budget, aimed at cutting public spending, dominated the legislature's time. Some of the harshest questions and critics came from opposition MP Adâm Ramont́i (AL), who insisted that the Social Democrats are, "all out of ideas, time and money."
