12-year-old boy victim of tragic hit-and-run

Goti - Ûžres, a small village nearly 4km from Tamara, was the location of a tragic crime scene which resulted in the death of a 12-year-old boy. The apparent hit-and-run occurred at approximately 07:38 local time. The victim, young  Ezeḱël Ṕûṕâ, was reportedly headed to the market to fetch vegetables for his mother when an unidentified driver struck the boy as he was crossing the street. 

Police investigators at the scene noted that the particular crossing where Ezeḱël was struck had a stop sign and signs denoting the pedestrian crossing. "We are able to confirm that the cause of death for the victim was blunt force trauma. At the time we do not have a clear suspect, so I encourage anyone with information to please come forward. Also, if the person who killed this child is listening to this, I ask that you please turn yourself in and give the family the closure they deserve." Said police at the scene. The criminal investigation is ongoing.  

 

The village of Ûžres, home to nearly 4,000 residents, has been rocked by the death of little Ezeḱël. A local church has arranged a vigil near the site of the accident, many in the village are expected to turn out for the vigil. The Ṕûṕâ family have asked for respect and space as they deal with the loss of their young child.
